For the second summer in a row, Counting Crows will team up with Matchbox Twenty for a lengthy tour. This year’s run is entitled “A Brief History Of Everything Tour 2017” and will span July 12 through October 1.
Counting Crows and Matchbox Twenty begin the tour at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington on July 12. From there, the groups will spend July focusing on the West Coast of the U.S. after stops in the Canadian cities of Edmonton and Vancouver. In August, the tour visits Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennesee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Then, in September, the groups bring the run to Connecticut, Virginia, Ontario, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri and Texas ahead of the tour-closing show in Dallas on October 1.
“No matter what I will ever do, nothing feels like home as much as playing these songs with these guys and it never will,” said Matchbox Twenty lead singer-songwriter Rob Thomas in a statement. “And I can’t wait to spend another summer out there on the road with the Crows.”
“To be honest, we took a vote after last year and decided to spend every summer with Rob from now on,” added Counting Crows’ frontman Adam Duritz. “Can. Not. Wait.”More Event Details
