If you’ve been inside an Afterhours club in Edmonton, chances are Big Daddy was playing at some point that night. “I began DJing when a friend left his turntables at my house after a party, I was immediately hooked.” Within months of learning to play, Big Daddy along with DJ Trapz began a night at the University bar that soon led them to create Phoenix Production.

Phoenix started off small doing one off parties at the University before moving on to host their legendary Naughty School Girl/Pimp and Hoe parties at other clubs around the city. The success of those nights prompted them to try something bigger and the Bushwhacked parties were born featuring DJs such as Steve Smooth and Paladin 5.0. “We never threw the biggest parties or had the biggest DJs but you were guaranteed to have the time of your life.”

Big Daddy’s has held long running residencies at some of Edmonton’s finest electronic clubs – Majestik Nightclub, Decadance Dance Lounge and both Twilight and Y Afterhours. Currently, he is a resident DJ for EDM powerhouse Boodang Music Canada where you can find him opening for some of the world’s biggest DJ’s - Martin Solvieg, BT, Disco Fries & Lisa Lashes just to name a few.

He loves to play everywhere and anywhere. Whether it’s a small club of 100, huge raves or large outdoor festival, when Big Daddy is spinning his signature Vocal House the crowd is sure to be on their feet and moving.
