Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of other local bands, the membership of the Great Escape felt the desire to get together and create something new, by catering completely to the audience of which they are playing to. There are NO songs you haven't heard, no originals, just the classic rock hits you know the words for, can dance to and songs you probably grew up with. These songs are performed in such a way that it's hard to tell it's not the original.
Enter Kathleen Kelly (she prefers "Kat") a solo recording artist that, like the rest of the band, wanted to play something fun and recognizable.

Together KAT KELLY & THE GREAT ESCAPE is an upbeat interactive group of individuals that will ensure you have a great time, and you will then see why they are called "Edmonton's Favorite Party Band"
