The three members met under unusual circumstances at Edmonton airport. Jordan Dempster, fresh from a gig at Edmonton Rockfest still carrying his stick-bag, discovered John Hewitt, just landed from Toronto and brandishing a guitar case... asking for directions from Jim Dyck, who was picking up a featured performer who had just flown in for the weekly Wednesday Wang Dang Doodle jam at the Leaf in Edmonton. Jordan said " Hey, lets form a band, yada yada yada" and the band was formed.
