The bands major influences range from post-rock bands such as Explosions In The Sky, to metal bands like Misery Signals. The result is a type of hardcore with crushing breakdowns that flow into melodic guitar riffs. For fans of, Misery Signals, Counterparts, As I Lay Dying.
Taking Juno was formed in the summer of 2011. They recorded their first EP in October 2011 at Fly By Night Recordings and are releasing it to the public on Nov 18, 2011. With the EP release and multiple shows in their hometown area, Taking Juno is working hard to carve a name for themselves in the melodic-hardcore scene.
