We are CAPITAL NEWZ, one of Edmonton’s most versatile cover bands playing everything from Michael Buble and Norah Jones, to Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban, to ABBA and Blondie, to Bon Jovi and Maroon 5 and literally everything in between. We are a six piece, multi-instrumentalist band with the strongest vocals and harmonies (male and female) you will ever hear being that everyone sings. Between us we have well over 150 years of professional stage experience including sharing stages with many well known recording artists and country wide tours. We have played many corporate events including The Alberta Diabetes Foundation Jeans and Jerseys fundraiser with the Oilers and Eskimos, the RCMP Regimental Ball in Hinton, The Lacombe Fire Department Ball and The Taste of Edmonton in Churchill Square. We have also played staff or Christmas parties for companies such as Bird Construction, Sobeys and The Glendale Golf Club. We have played venues such as Casino Yellowhead, Argyll Casino, Caffrey's in Sherwood Park and The Sawmill Banquet Center. We recently played the Motorcycle Toy Run for Santa's Anonymous for 5000 charity minded motorcycle enthusiasts at Capilano Mall! If you want an excellent, very entertaining, versatile band who play a little bit of everything for your party, fundraiser or wedding, give us a shout and you will NOT be disappointed.
