Dawn in the City is a Funky Soul, Rock and Roll band from Edmonton, Alberta. They play an eclectic mix of up-tempo, spirit-lifting music that includes original songwriting and a diverse list of covers from some of the most favourite artists of the last century – always adding their own, unmistakable flavor. They like to call this style of music: Funk ‘N’ Roll.
Dawn in the City could be one of Western Canada’s best kept secrets in live entertainment… They are a four piece band, who are all about the funky fun and groovy goodtimes! Originally forming in 2006, Dawn in the City has evolved into a top notch group, a true variety band that emphasizes high energy music and dancing tunes.
