We are an alternative metal band from St. Albert, AB. The group is composed of Aj Garritty (lead guitar), Matthew Klassen (rhythm guitar and vocals), Caelin Porter (bass), and Keaton Chalifoux (drums and background vocals). Our name is a statement against all mindless music where those who record the song are often not the same who wrote it, and where lyrics are often meaningless stories about partying or an ex- girlfriend. Being a play on words (brain dead - DrainBed), our name represents the opposite of this music, which is what we aspire to be. Our main influences would be System Of A Down, Nirvana, Tool, All Hail The Yeti, and Muse. Using elements from 90's grunge, progressive rock, and many types of metal, we express raw, meaningful emotions from everyday life. Our goal is to let people know that it’s okay to be different, angry, or confused.
