The Blue Montegos play original roots music. They just released their first album in March, recorded at the Hayloft Acres in Strathcona County, right off the outdoor ‘Prairie Rose’ stage.

The band is made up of Tim LaRiviere, Mark Scholz and Rod Were. Since forming, they have played festivals, events and venues as far north as Yellowknife, sharing stages with the likes of Kathleen Edwards, Skydiggers and the Road Hammers.
