Mourning Wood
Originally formed around the time of BC’s devastating forest fires in 2003, this band endorses its audiences to give and receive one of Canada’s most precious resources; Mourning Wood. The band appeals to a vast and eclectic demographic, ensuring that witnesses leave their inhibitions behind in order to lavish in the energy of musical lust. The band self-proclaims that it is the easiest rock band on the eyes in the Borealis area. Mourning Wood’s arsenal of shows include the Edmonton Indy, Spirit of Edmonton (Grey Cup), Edmonton Oilers, Big Rock Eddies, Kokanee FreeRide, Panorama Slush Cup, Alberta Pond Hockey Tournament, the casino circuit, and many other venues/functions across the Alberta scene.
