Toronto, ON // September 4, 2012 – New additional Fall Canadian tour dates have been announced for JUNO nominated recording artist Bahamas, taking the Toronto-based songwriter/musician Afie Jurvanen and his acclaimed live band’s (of Jason Tait, Felicity Williams, and Carleigh Aikins) current North American tour from Halifax, NS to Victoria, BC throughout September and October, 2012. All dates listed below.

Since the February release of Barchords, Bahamas was named to the Polaris Music Prize long list, made their U.S. television debut on CONAN (watch here) and were named one of “SXSW 2012's Top 10 Shows” by SPIN Magazine. Barchords garnered high praise from a wide range of peers and press, including k.d. lang, City and Colour, Noah and the Whale, The Head and the Heart, CBC Q, The Los Angeles Times, The Globe and Mail, NPR Fresh Air, Wall Street Journal, NOW Magazine, Paste, Toronto Star, Relix, Entertainment Weekly, The Guardian, Boston Globe, BBC Music, Filter, UPTOWN, NYLON Guys, National Post, Marie Claire, American Songwriter, Time Out New York and many more.
