Produced by Shannon Johnson (Juno award winner with The McDades for 2007’s Bloom), the 8 songs on "Piece By Piece" pay tribute to the resilience and grace of immigrant women working at Edmonton's GWG clothing factory over its 93-year history (1911 – 2004). Locally inspired, the songs are universal in theme—immigration, work, family,

hope for a better life.

The multimedia CD release concert at Festival Place will include video footage of interviews with women who worked at GWG and feature the following musicians:

Maria Dunn – vocal, guitar, accordion
