BIO:
Singer-songwriter-pianist Jeffery Straker performs over 100 shows per year across Canada. He recently recorded for CBC radio’s ‘Canada Live’, & had a music video rise to the top 10 (#6) on Canada’s Much More Music. He launched his album, ‘under the soles of my shoes’ in June 2011 and toured Canada in support of it with stops ranging from intimate house concerts to a sold-out show with the full Regina Symphony Orchestra. Following that orchestral debut, The Regina Leader Post wrote: “Straker was simply spectacular...clearly one of the province’s best cultural exports”. Canadian Musician Magazine has recently said, “Very much an artist to watch” while the Chicago Free Press has written, “Rufus Wainwright, as well as k.d. lang are among the Canadians making essential and beautiful music. Add the name Jeffery Straker to that list”.
He has just launched his new album “Vagabond” (Oct 2, 2012) produced by Canadian Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & producer Danny Michel. For the project the pair recorded on Glenn Gould’s grand piano at the CBC studios in Toronto. www.jeffstraker.com

Lindsey Walker
Lindsey is truly a one-of-a-kind performer. In her short but illustrious career so far Lindsey has not only become an established singer-songwriter, but has also been making a name for herself in the theatre world too. Starring in numerous musicals and short films all over Canada, as well as completely transforming herself into Marilyn Monroe or Liza Minnelli for corporate and charity functions, Lindsey has set out to do it all. Upon graduating from Grant MacEwan's Jazz Performance Program with the highest of honours, she has gone on to receive a RAWLCO Radio $10000 10K20 grant, and has also been involved in many recording projects for Grant MacEwan College. Lindsey is a member of the Improvisational Theatre troupe Rapid Fire Theatre, which is based out of Edmonton Alberta. Lindsey credits much of her songwriting success to her professional partner Drew Malcolm, who she performs with on a very regular basis.
