Eileen Laverty

Years ago, Eileen Laverty traded security for adventure, leaving her teaching career to become a full-time singer. Her choice was sound, and her star is rising. Known for her heart-rending ballads, strong vocals and charisma, she has performed across Canada and Ireland delivering her upbeat messages and catchy songs.

She received a Prairie Music Award for Outstanding Roots Recording, and performed with several major stars, including Ian Tyson and Kenny Rogers. Several of her songs made it to television shows and films, and into the songbooks of well-known artists like Mary Black.
