Front Porch Christmas Revue
Ron Rault, Crawdad Cantera, Tracy Millar, and Gord Matthews

Another configuration of Front Porch Roots Revue featuring long time members Ron Rault and Crawdad Cantera on bass/vocals and harmonica/vocals respectively.

They’re joined by country-folk singer and guitarist Tracy Millar who has enjoyed considerable airplay on many western Canadian country stations. Millar impressed Rhonda Vincent so much that the bluegrass star lent her talents to Millar's most recent recording as did her brother Darren of the award-winning bluegrass duo Dailey and Vincent. Tracy has also worked with Ron Rault as a member of the Ian Tyson tribute show The Gift.

Gord Matthews has been playing guitar in the Front Porch show Up On Cripple Creek: A Tribute To The Band that sold-out Festival Place and The Ironwood in Calgary last January. Gord brings twenty-five years plus of experience playing with some of Canada's greatest talents. He spent years on the road and in the studio working with k.d. lang, and followed that stint with a decade as Ian Tyson's lead guitarist. He also brings some cool originals to this configuration of Front Porch.
Given that Matthews, Millar and Rault have those strong connections to Tyson's work, look for the Front Porch crew to serve up a few tunes from Tyson's catalogue in the first set. Rault, Matthews and Cantera will also add a couple of tunes from The Band repertoire to the second set.
Dot the evening with a few Christmas blues and country favorites and some down home Front Porch blues from the Front Porch album, and there's something for everyone at this Front Porch Christmas Revue.
