Hello fellow cyber friends and neighbors:

Can you imagine 10 years…

That’s right our tenth year of bringing Alberta talent to the spotlight on a fully powered concert sized stage for them to showcase what their thing is all about…where we encourage original music as much as a great cover band…because that’s what we are all about…do it as if you mean it…***Mach Schau***…

to name just a few who have graced our stage…the Marv Machura Band, the Hootin Annies, Mike McDonald, Michael Shellard, Joe Public, the HeartAcres, and of course in 2010 to open up our hillside stage “the Prairie Rose” we had the 25 piece band “Celtic Fusion Illusion”
full of bagpipes and drums along with a serious rock band …

I have to say that along with Dr. Al Oeming giving us a little history that same day as he told us stories of and about our great part of the world “Strathcona County”…are my personal highlights of them all…I know at least a few of you were here when the pipers came over the ridge and made their way down the hillside toward the stage as the sun was setting behind them…oh what a feeling

And so here we are with this years ensemble of great Alberta Talent for May 11th our 10th year of showcasing live Alberta music…make your plans to show your support for the first outdoor music festival of the new season...it's gonna be a hot and beautiful Springtime day in the country…on the hillside and on stage...
