Following a successful spring run supporting Clutch, metal luminaries The Sword have announced a 25-date U.S. and Canadian tour, kicking off on July 25 in Dallas. The trek will be the first to visit Canada in support of the band's fourth album, "Apocryphon". Support acts for all dates will be Castle and American Sharks.

"Apocryphon" sold nearly 17,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was produced and engineered by J. Robbins (Clutch, Jawbox) at Magpie Cage Studios and features cover art by famed comic book artist J.H. Williams III (Batwoman, Promethea).
