My oh my, how the time flies by! It's been 2 years since we first fired up our little Saturday afternoon escape...it seems like only yesterday. I guess all good things stand the test of time eh? So, as we always like to do...we're throwing a party and inviting all our musician friends and music lovers to come and help us mark our milestone with fine roots music and fellowship.

And, as we also like to do, we are going to raise money for a worthy cause. Last year at our 1st anniversary bash we raised $1,123 for the Edmonton Women's Shelter, this year we have chosen to donate to the newly formed Fred Larose Foundation to help musicians in time of sickness and other needs. For those of you who don't know, Fred was our original house bass player who lit up stage weekly with his wit, humour and quality musicianship to the crowd's loving delight...he is sorely missed! This is an excellent opportunity for us to keep Fred's memory alive and a way to honour him ad infinitum.

We are also going to have lots of door prizes to give away including a new guitar! All you do is make a donation and you will entered to win some swag.

Finally, on behalf of myself, Grant and all of our bass players (Chris Brzezicki will be our bass player for the day) we'd like to say thank-you to all the musos for sharing their talents on our stage but especially to the music fans for giving us a place to hang out on Saturday afternoons, for if it wasn't for you all coming out to listen to the music...there would be no show! Y'all nice people!
