Devon Main Street (Devon Days)

Devon Days is a weekend of fun for all that attend. The event is hosted annually. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to change the date.

Wednesday we begin with the Devon Days Kick-off at the Braun Hall in the Community Center. The Town of Devon hosts this event, serving up Hot Dogs. Be sure to bring the family - Come for the Food, Stay for the Live Band!! There is no cost for this event.

Thursday brings about the first Comedy/Dance/Silent Auction Night

Friday we are once again welcoming West Coast Amusements who will be providing all kinds of rides and games that will interest the fun at heart all weekend long. At the same time, bring the family 'downtown' as we will be celebrating the many tastes around Devon - The Taste of Devon is a fun evening when all the restaurants and groups come out to make supper for all. During the night we have local talent to entertain the groups on the outside stage, as well as face painters and balloon artists for the kids. For the teens, Much Music Video Dance comes to the Arena for a supervised dance. And - for all you sports fans, we have brought back the Ball Tournament. As everything is winding down for the night, we have a great show of fireworks, which are sponsored mostly in part by the Town Of Devon.

Saturday starts very early with breakfast at the Fire Hall sponsored by the Devon Volunteer Fire Department. Following the breakfast, we have the parade. Right after the parade we will be having the Outhouse Races on Main Street and will continue the weekend with Main Street Events. Kids can pet different animals, have their face painted or have a BBQ lunch at the Community Church Fun Times. The family can then go shopping with the local at home businesses at the market place on the street. We will have bouncy castles and face painters as well as entertainment throughout the afternoon. We are also organizing a town wide Garage Sale. For all the bike enthusiasts, we are bringing back the Big Air Skateboard & BMX Competitions. To end the evening, adults are able to dance the night away at the Devon Days Beerfest.

Sunday, we start the day with breakfast down in Lion’s Park sponsored by our local Lion’s Club. Starting at noon, Sunday in the Park will be held @ Centennial Park this year. There will be food and concessions available as well as entertainment all afternoon. A Beer Gardens is in the works as well. The whole day is fairly relaxed in the sun. In the event of rain or worse, Sunday in the Park still goes ahead as planned in the Dale Fisher Arena. The Devon Community Choir Concert will once again be performing at the Community Center beginning @ 3:30 pm with a dinner and silent auction to follow.
