Edmonton’s only club serving the LGBTQ community year round, Evolution has won Best Dance Club (Vue Weekly, 2014-2017), Community Choice Night Club (Metro, 2017 and 2019), Best LGBT Bar (Vue Weekly, 2015-2017), Best Club Night (Vue Weekly, 2016-2017) and Business That Gives Back (Star Metro, 2019).

Home of regular drag and burlesque entertainment, the club has hosted guests like Chi Chi La Rue, Leslie Jordan, Lady Bunny, Alyssa Edwards, Bianca Del Rio, Amanda Lepore, Cazwell, Rocco Steele, Brent Corrigan, Brent Everett, and more.

EVO is proud to be active in the community. Since opening in 2013, over $300,000 has left the venue to go back into groups and causes such as the Red Cross, Canadian Mental Health Association, cancer research, HIV Edmonton, GSAs, and more.

In addition to great dance floors on Friday and Saturday, EVO is always available for events as varied as political town halls, comedy nights, poetry slams, and of course our weekly karaoke! Check out the events calendar for details on upcoming shows!
