We do live theatre, indie concerts, an amazing short film festival, have a friendly 165 seat theatre available for community use.

To provide positive live theatre experiences for the enjoyment of volunteers and audiences.

We are one of Canada’s largest non-profit community amateur theatre companies.

We are into our 51st season. That's over 5 decades worth of experiences, laughter, friendship, shows, and fun!

Over the last 50 years Grande Prairie Live Theatre has produced over 200 shows. Ranging from musicals, dramas, concerts, and festivals, GPLT has become known as the premiere producer of live events in Grande Prairie. The GPLT relies heavily on its over 300 volunteers to produce community theatre of the highest quality.

The GPLT operates a 165 seat theatre in the heart of Downtown Grande Prairie.

Monday to Friday
10:30am to 4:30pm - Closed from 1:00-2:00pm for lunch
Closed weekends & all holidays
